And now onto the next show! Alberta Ferretti’s designs have always been simple and feminine and sophisticated maybe because of their very clean lines and attention to the little details and today I was able to see her collection! This show was presented in a semi-presential modality and the whole collection was published online for international media. The venue? An enchanted forest’s recreation at Milano’s heart, as Alberta Ferretti herself, put it, and I must say it indeed looked charming.
And what did we see today? Lots of gorgeous things: satin crop tops, puffy sleeves in shirts and dresses alike, miniskirts, straight cut jackets with extra big pockets, tight dresses and sweaters that looked quite cozy. We also saw so many textures in fabrics: chiffon, silk, and hand-knit yarn, among others.
The main colors of this collection are nudes, earth colors, camel, whites, yellows, and pastel tones that are going to be trending next season. There were also transparencies in some dresses and skirts that I’m also sure we are going to be seeing a lot during spring and summer, and some deep necklines that put together with the fabrics and colors used in this collection, keep the illusion of just bare skin.
This collection was also influenced by the times we are living and it is undeniable the practical nature of the clothes we saw today, yes, they look feminine but you can almost imagine yourself going on with your day in any of Alberta Ferretti’s refined designs, with total ease, specially with any of the gorgeous flat sandals she presented.
These are my favorite looks of this collection:

Sira
One of my favorite brands in watches!
Known for its elegance, it was presented at the most important watchmaking event in Latin America. SIAR is the International Hall of Haute Horlogerie where the most important watch brands in the world are introduced.

Audemars Piguet is not only amazing for its luxurious designs, but it has an interesting story behind each of its watches. Each project is created by artists who personally make their own interpretations of the cultural origin of this enterprise.
On this opportunity, they presented the Millenary Collection with a beautiful contemporary design. The case is oval and the dial on the sphere is out of phase. Some are decorated with handmade diamonds. I love the variety in designs of this collection. There are different colors such as frosted gold, opaline with gold, rose gold, brown, and blue. They also come with leather, mesh, and metal straps.

Code 11.59, is a watch with lots of experimental design. Its case is circular and has a sapphire crystal with a double curvature to give it a deepness effect and play with its perspective as well as its light. It is one of the most important projects for AP since the technology they used is very complex. It’s made of thin golden layers and a six calibres mechanism that ensures its accuracy.

Another wonderful thing I love about the brand is how they relate to different concepts like art, sports, music, and its foundation. With these watches is how they help preserve the forests aside from inventing incredible designs, set trends, contribute preserving the environment and give the example that we can all be supportive in different areas.
They created a beautiful ambiance at the suite of the St. Regis Hotel, where the event took place. At the entrance was the installation “Voyage” created by Arin Rungjang.
Here are some pictures of my favorite pieces.

First of all, pins done a very special part on almost every look, they gave life to clothes, it was like they have been in the party too but by their side and by the way they had more fun than you.

You could find almost every kind of small jewel and charm imaginable in this collection
even a small sized fragrance bottle hanging on a golden bracelet surrounded by more
curiosities.
The styling seems bad done and there was layering in a more sophisticated and
discreet way than we usually see. The layering started at the bottom with a long sleeve
shirt followed by a bowling like shirt and at the top of everything a beautiful satin or silk
slip tank top. But the “bad done” styling is not a bad thing at all, on the contrary, it
gave an unfinished vibe, a “im not polished yet” vibe, the one that only wild souls have.
