This year has been particularly challenging for a lot of us, this pandemic came to change a lot of the things we’ve taken for granted but at the same time, has allowed us to change our mindsets, and sometimes for the better.
I know that for some of you, these holidays are becoming a difficult time of the year because of the situation we’re currently living, and with this post I want to reach out to you and let you know that it’s ok not to feel exactly ok, that it’s all right not to feel positive all the time, that it’s all right not having a lot of energy and it’s ok to feel that you need a break. This year has put us all to test and changed our lives completely, and it’s completely understandable that for some of you, these holidays may feel like a burden instead of something to be enjoyed, and that’s fine too.

As you know, I have three children, and I want to make these holidays as special as I can for them and I’m sure a lot of moms out there want to do the same for their children, if these new reality we’re currently living into has been rough on us as adults, for the children has also been difficult, although I’ve realized that kids are much more adaptable than we sometimes think. So we decorated together our house, put our Christmas tree, and the kids made their letter to Santa Claus, and I’m completely sure Santa Claus will bring whatever they asked for, as they have been such well behaved kids all year long.
For me, spending time with my family recharges me, seeing my kids happily helping me decorate the Christmas tree and later writing their letter makes this year worth for me because we’re together and they are happy children. But I also know how important is to take care of me to be able to be a happy mother for them, so I make sure to do the things I enjoy doing, pamper myself, read a little, meditate, workout, all those things I enjoy doing.

This year I’m particularly grateful for all of you that read what I have to say, see my stories, send me comments and questions, see my videos and my lives. I’m happy with this community we’re building together and I’m proud that even during such a rough year we have been able to connect and share things and ideas, so I wanted to use this post to thank you all for being part of this community, for all your support and for constantly being here. I wish you have great holidays, please don’t forget to take care of yourselves and spend time with the people you love, and even if you can’t be all together celebrating, saying the ones we care about that we love them is important. Be safe during these holidays!
Love
